Iztuzu Beach

Iztuzu Beach

Iztuzu Beach is located in southwestern Turkey. It is 4.5 km long beach near Dalyan. The beach forms a natural barrier between the fresh water delta of Dalyan and the Mediterranean. It is also called „Turtle Beach“, because it is one of the last nesting grounds of the endangered loggerhead turtles „Caretta caretta“, and therefore there is no construction allowed. The best time to see them is at dawn between May and September. The beach itself is a white sand beach, which makes it ideal place for sunbathing and swimming. It is said there is no beach like Iztuzu with one side being fresh water and the other Mediterranean. The sand of the beach is golden and very thin, starting from the mountains, vertical to the sea and close up the edge of the delta.

Yedi Adalar

Yedi Adalar or Seven Islands are located on the south west region of the Gulf of Gökova. They form a chain of small islands close to the coast. The surroundings are unspoilt and full of little islands and coral reefs. You can pick your favorite spot to drop anchor and relax in a natural beauty of Seven Islands. With crystal clear waters, abundant sunshine, good anchorages and friendly people, the coast of Bodrum offers many diversities. Bodrum attracts a diverse population of vacationers along its long palm-lines waterfront. It is also perfect spot for scuba diving, swimming and snorkeling, where you can explore numerous reefs, caves and majestic rock formations. The most renowned of these islands is Sedir Island, where you can found Cleopatra beach, with its very special golden sand.
